Do you suffer from an unsightly itchy, flaky scalp or growing dandruff especially during the colder months? This apple cider vinegar remedy will get you back on track in no time. This works wonders. Really! Itchy Scalp Recipe Mix 4 cups of warm water and 1/3 cup of Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar in a large bowl. Mix and pour over head after shampooing your scalp. You can follow up with another lather of shampoo if you want, but the scent does go away really soon. The shampoos I used were Nizoral and Kera Care for color treated hair (not shown). *Don't have time to shampoo. Rub some extra virgin coconut oil on your scalp. It will relieve the itching temporarily until you have time to use this remedy.

The two strand twists aren't good enough to just wear but I wear them to stretch my hair and get a nice twist out look on my TWA. I have about almost 3 months of growth since my BC so I'm still working with a TWA and I know WnGs get old...so I decided to do something different. Miscellaneous info: . Grew my hair for 6 months. Didn't use any products in this time apart from shampoo & conditioner. . Keep your hair neat, don't let it get tangled & knotted (unless you're using the neglect method). . The day/nite before you get your hair done, shampoo it but DON'T condition it. . The thickness of your locks will be determined by the size of your parts/sections. . Locking method that I used: 2-strand twist + interlock/latch. Wax used to hold. . After intial lock, I didn't wash my hair for a month to allow it to lock. . During the first month, didn't do anything further with my hair - didn't twist it, didn't palm-roll it. NOTHING! . After first month, washed & conditioned using Jamaican Mango & Lime (JM&L) shampoo conditioner on the day of my re-twist. (you don't really see much of the new growth until you've washed your hair.) . I'm not a JM&L groupie, it's just the first product specifically for dreads that I found where I live. POSSIBLY HELPFUL HINTS: . ***GET YOURSELF SOME ANTI-ITCH SPRAY FOR YOUR SCALP!!!!*** . To prevent your hair getting messed up, get a stocking cap, du-rag, or pillow-case made of silk/satin. . Avoid light-colored towels, pillow cases, beanies, etc. to eliminate visible lint in your hair. . And every other time I wash my hair (it really depends on how I'm going to style my hair) I follow up with Head and Shoulders Classic Clean Conditioner. Once a week I wash my hair with the Head and Shoulders Itchy Scalp Treatment. AND FINALLY, I don't know if I'm going to continue to use this product specifically because I got it out of birchbox so it's really expensive. But once a week I use the Monoi conditioning hair treatment. I'll probably just go to walmart and get some cheap conditioning treatment. Anyway. I hope you enjoy this video.
